Leader of the Natural Products Research group recruited
Happy to welcome Dr. Chin-Soon Phan as the head of Natural Products Research group at LIOS. Dr. Chin-Soon Phan scientific background is based on marine natural products chemistry. After PhD studies, he performed research on natural products biosynthesis at the University of Western Australia, Hokkaido University, and National University of Singapore. Currently, his primary research interests include microbial natural products unique to Baltic area.

On 25th of May, Prof. Karl-Heinz Altmann (ETH Zurich), a member of the External Advisory Board of project Natalion, gave an insightful lecture "Total Synthesis and Functional Exploration of Macrocyclic Natural Products" at LIOS.
